Minneapolis Elementary School.

I feel like every single elementary school in the city looks like this. Mine definitely did. Since I’m working on several buildings for work and we are an education nonprofit, I thought it would be good to add in a snippet of a school building. To be honest, it feels a little lifeless and bare. I was tempted to put artwork on the windows and perhaps I will edit it to elude to the colors often seen from the street, but for now this will suffice. Ultimately it will become part of a collage with photographs including a school bus and children, so I don’t want to distract too much from those elements down the road. But I do wish it showed a little more of the energy and chaos of elementary schools.

Anyone else all of a sudden nostalgic for shaving cream-scented desks and Heads-Up Seven-Up?
